IYA Celebrates Education Minister At 64

Igbo Youth Assembly Worldwide heartily celebrates a National Icon, the Federal Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu as he clocks 64 years.

The birthday felicitation by the group was contained in a release signed and made available to this newspaper through its Deputy Publicity Secretary, Ustaz Abubakar Egwim, from its Secretariat in Enugu, Enugu State, on Sunday.

Wishing the Minister God’s continued love, IYA Worldwide reflected that Mallam Adamu Adamu has devoted so many years in the service of God and humanity and Nigeria in general.

While stating that the Minister “is a sound professional who is versatile in the areas of Journalism, Accounting, Linguistics, being a public administrator per excellence”, the group noted that “Malam Adamu Adamu has contributed immensely in the development of education and youth empowerment in Nigeria particularly via the transformational strides he has achieved so far as the vibrant Minister of Eduction including resolving the ASUU-ASUP and Federal Government lingering issues, the creation of additional Six(6) Colleges of Education, one in each of the Geo- political Zones in the country, the introduction of Modern Technology in the learning process in education system, transparency and accountability in the education management and administration in Nigeria. For example, JAMB, NECO and others”.

IYA Worldwide is very grateful that the Minister is hale and hearty as he “marks his 64th birthday on the 25th May, 2020. And in the Spirit of Eid El Fitr, Igbo Youth Assembly Worldwide respectfully prayed to the Almighty Allah, the Greatest, Holy and Powerful, to grant him good health and long life as he continues to serve God and humanity with his deep sense of responsibility and loyalty to the President.

“Igbo Youth Assembly Worldwide prayed that God shall heal Nigeria over this Covid-19 Pandemic”, praying also for a stronger, united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

IYA Worldwide however vowed to continue to support the Minister as he carries out his duty to help move the country forward.
