The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State, has continued to witness resignations of members of the State Executive of the party.
In the past one week, more than three officials of the State Executive Commitee have resigned. They are the State Publicity Secretary, the Assistant Financial Secretary and the Youth Leader.
The State party Chairman, Charles Ezekwem had resigned three months ago.
The latest to resign is the Acting Publicity Secretary, Hon.Chief Harry Ihebinike.
Ihebinike had taken up the role of Acting Publicity Secretary barely a week Mr.Damian Opara resigned as Publicity Secretary of the party.
In his letter of resignation to the Acting Chairman of the party, Mr. Ihebinike also resigned his membership of the PDP in the State.
“I wish to write to inform you, that I, Hon.Chief Harry Ihebinike, has resigned as both a member of the party and Ag.State Publicity Secretary of the party with immediate effect after due consideration with my immediate family and supporters” he wrote
