A group, Equity For Good Governnace, EGG has called on Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, well meaning individuals in the State, to call to order the Interim Management Committee, IMC, Chairman of Ngor Okpala LGA, Mayor Nweke.
President of the group, Comrade Joseph Opara in a statement made available to newsmen, alleged that the Chairman is taking advantage of his position to fight his perceived enemies, describing the attack on Obinna Eke, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Ward 1 chairman at his country home, Obokwe, Amala Ntu Area, as unacceptable
According to Opara, he said the action of the Chairman is unacceptable of a man saddled with the responsibility of an exalted position.
He called on Governor Uzodinma to the Chairman to order from oppressing those in the opposition, stating that it is strange to them how the Governor known as a grassroot mobilizer could appoint someone who is intolerant as Chairman of a local Government.
