The APC House of Representatives candidate for Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon. Edwin Iheanacho, is dead throwing the entire APC political family in the state into mourning.
Popularly known and called “Oku” by his friends, admirers and associates, Iheanacho is regarded a rising political star, beaming with hope and enjoys massive followership from his constituency.
The politician died on Sunday in Owerri after an undisclosed illness.
Reports say he died barely forty eight hours, an Election Petition Tribunal, is expected to pass judgment on a suit he filed challenging the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC of the PDP candidate, Hon Jerry Alagbaso as winner of the Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency election.
Alagbaso is a third term member of the House of Representatives.
