Uzodinma Heads Edo APC Primary Election

Following his assumption of office as National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Prince Hillard Eta, has appointed Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, as Edo State APC Primary Election Chairman.

Eta who will act for Abiola Ajimobi who is indisposed to occupy the position, also declared vacant the office of the Deputy National Secretary of the party occupied by Victor Giadom

Giadom had claimed and declared himself Acting Chairman of the APC after the Court of Appeal suspended Comrade Adams Oshiomole as national chairman of the party.

The National Working Committee, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Lanre Issa Onilu, explained that due to Ajimobi’s unavoidable absence, the National Working Committee, NWC appointed National Vice Chairman (South South), Prince Hillard Eta to act.

The APC had been embroiled in crisis with the resignation of Governor Godwin Obaseki from the party. Same day, the Court of Appeal suspended its National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole
