Delisted UPP Joins Imo PDP

One of the de-registered political parties in the country, the United Progressive Party, UPP have collapsed into the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State.

Ejike Uche (Dimkpasa), who was the Deputy National Chairman of the UPP and leader in Imo State, said after the UPP was delisted by INEC, and after deliberations and analyses of the of the political weather, they came to the resolution that the PDP is the only stable political party with goodwill for the unity of the country.

Uche however blamed the handful of his partymen who accompanied him to join the PDP to Covid 19 restrictions, assuring that after the restrictions, they will join the PDP enmasse, assuring that they will contribute to develop the PDP.

Recall that the governorship candidate of the UPP in Imo State in 2015, Hon Tony Nwulu, had rejoined the PDP last month.

Receiving the decampees, Imo PDP Chairman, Martin Ejiogu, assured them that in PDP, they will enjoy fairness, equity and justice.
