How Uzodinma’s Camp Reacted After Uche Nwosu Disowned RAP Petition

by admin

There seems to be some level of joy and jubilation in the political camp of Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, over the recent pronouncement by Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, distancing himself from the petition filed by the Reform and Advancement Party, RAP.

RAP’s governorship candidate in the 2019 election, Barr. Okere Kingdom, had approached the Federal High Court, Abuja seeking judicial interpretation on the legality of Hope Uzodinma as governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

A statement credited to Batos Nwadike, Political Adviser to the Imo State Governor, he said the “state political bureau is in receipt of the gallant rebuttal of Chief Uche Nwosu for disowning Reform and Advancement Party, RAP”

According the statement, it described RAP as a de-listed political party in the country, describing its latest action as “court wanderings”. He commended Nwosu for being bold to “disown unfortunate nomadic wandering in the judiciary for a relief that can never be granted”

He described RAP’s legal action against Uzodinma as “wild goose chase”

Uche Nwosu, who was governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, AA in the 2019 governorship election had denied involvement in the RAP petition.
