The newly elected President Recreation Club Orlu and Member, Interim Management Committee, Orlu Local Government Council, Imo State, Hon. Engr. Achinike Onyeka O’Bright, has admonished the critics of the Interim Management Commitee, IMC led by Chief Mrs Nneoma Ifeoma Ndukwu to criticize the Council constructively.

He said constructive criticism would offer solution to some challenges confronting the Council.

In an interview with journalists recently at the Orlu LGA Headquarters during the 100 Days Celebration in Office of the Interim Management Committee which he chaired, O’Bright called on the opposition, critics of the IMC, party members, APC enthusiasts and Orlu people to always support the policies of the Governor and IMC

so that solution would be arrived at to lift the Council positively.

He noted that the Council is doing its best to meet the needs of the people especially through the provision of social amenities, saying the Council has perfected plans to train about 130 youths of Orlu on meaningful skills to imbue them with productive abilities so that they are empowered financially and morally and otherwise

.O’Bright, who was the Chairman of the event on the 100Days Celebration in Office of the Orlu Council Interim Management Committee Chaired by Mrs Ndukwu, pointed out that the IMC Members are productive people having achieved a lot for the people within short time in Office.

O’Bright, who unveiled a Portrait of the Orlu IMC Chairman, Mrs Ndukwu, on behalf of the Council, assessed the Chairman as being industrious, assertive, cool, friendly and kind.

According to him, Mrs Ndukwu “has laudable programs which will attract funding by the Imo State Government. These programs are aimed at lifting the locality positively. Yes, she is devoted to reform Orlu. Let prayers and support be intensified so that she continues her good work for her good people. Criticize her constructively as you offer solutions to mitigate teething challenges

While praising God for the opportunity given to the IMC Council to mark its 100 Days in Office, he vowed they will continue to work effectively and cordially to achieve more success for the people.

He urged Imo people to always support the Shared Prosperity administration led by Governor Hope Uzodinma to advance good living, peace, security and socio- economic development instead of undue criticism of his government, commending the Governor on Road Construction and Payment of Salaries, Pensions and Gratuities.
