A task I know you will discharge with the interest of our party at heart and I have no doubt in my mind that you will carry out this task with all sense of humility and dedication for the greater collective interest of our great party, PDP.
“It is my appeal therefore, having not been able to meet all of you personally one on one to solicit and appeal to your consciences for a favourable consideration towards my chairmanship aspiration.
“My vision is to lead a party by your mandate that is vibrant, just and fair to all party members, an innovative and dynamic party, a party strengthened by her Constitution and doctrine, a party that rewards and encourages her members, a party that will embrace the use of technology in running her affairs, a party that recognises the task ahead needs a Chairman that can co-ordinate both men, women and materials in the pursuit to reclaiming our victory that was taken away from us through the courts and finally a party that recognises her role in opposition and will discharge that responsibility with all sense of humility and within the ambitof the law.
“I, Chief Chuks Ajaelu believes that I am that candidate who enjoys enormous goodwill across the State and at the national level. I will surely tap into that goodwill and bring it to bear in the effective running of our party in the State.
“Finally my dear delegates, I wish you all good health and courageous wisdom and God’s grace as you discharge this function. Let me be your man. Your choice.
