Contrary to online reports that some staffs of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, are owed salaries and recently embarked on a protest to demand for pay; it has been observed that no staff (s) of the citadel of learning is owed a dime.
Public Relations Officer, PRO, Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Mr. Eva Nwosu said there is no iota of truth in the report, saying the Federal Government through the Intergrated Personnel and Payroll System, IPPS, has paid staffs of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, for the months of May and June, 2020.
He added that no staff(s) in the institution is owed any salary, describing the report of non payment as false and figment of the writer’s imagination.
