There was drama at Relief Market, Owerri, Friday when a middle aged man, rolled countless times on a rain soaked floor after a lady,suspected to be his girlfriend rejected his marriage proposal.
The incident which initially looked like a drama turned out to be real, as the man pleaded to the lady to accept his proposal.
The busy market almost came to a halt as the scene attracted passerbys and traders. Most of them even intervened and appealed to the young lady to accept the man’s proposal.
The lady vehemently refused which made the young man to roll countless times on the floor.
Several plea by those at the scene, to the young lady, to accept the man’s proposal fell on deaf ears.
Efforts to ascertain why the lady refused the offer of the man was unsuccessful.
