The All Progressive Congress, APC, has constituted a 15 man committee for Okigwe senatorial bye election.
The Committee is headed by State Deputy Chairman of the party, Hon Prince Ugochukwu Nzekwe.
Among those on the list are political heavyweights in the State such as former Mayor of Owerri, and SA, ADP to the Governor, Chief Gibson Njemanze (Oyiga), former State Chairman, PDP, Imo State, Charles Ezekwem, SA, Political to Governor Hope Uzodinma, Batos Nwadike, and others.
A statement signed by Cajethan Duke, spokesman of the party on Wednesday reads:
“Ahead of the forthcoming bye-election for the Imo North senatorial seat, the state caretaker committee of All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State chapter has inaugurated a 15 man Election Planning Committee. The committee will be chaired by the state deputy chairman, *Hon. Prince Ugochukwu Nzekwe.*
Other members of the committee are as follows:

2. Hon. Achonwa Njemanze(Oyiga)
3. Barr. Charles Ezekwem
4. Engr. Nick Osuagwu
5. Chief Canice-moore Nwachukwu
6. Hon. Benjamin Igwe
7. Hon. Regis Uwakwe
8. Hon. Blyden Amajirionwu
9. Dr. Clement Anozie
10. Simon Ebegbulem
11. Chief Linus Ireoha
12. Hon. Dom Uzowuru
13. Dr. Batos Nwadike
14. Engr. Paul Oparah, who will serve a secretary of the committee.
“The committee is expected among other things, to work with all relevant stakeholders in the party to ensure a smooth and successful pre and post election outing for the party.
