Okewulonu Emerges PDP Candidate For Okigwe Senate Election

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has elected Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu, as its flagbearer for Okigwe senate bye election.

The bye election holds on October 31, 2020.

Okewulonu polled 609 votes to  beat his main challenger, Hon. Patrick Ndubueze who got 27 votes.

The results of the Primary was announced by Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Chief Chuba Oramisi.

According to him, the number of accredited voters was 659 votes, void votes were 23 while valid votes stood at 639.
