• Ogbuagu is the Majority Leader, Imo State House Of Assembly

The member representing Ikeduru State Constituency at the Imo State House of Assembly, Amb. Uche Ogbuagu has given a hint of his intention to bring the National Health Insurance Scheme NHIS to the people of Ikeduru State Constituceny.

Ogbuagu who disclosed this while receiving the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists Imo State Council, Comrade Chris. Akaraonye who paid him a visit at his country home Amii Akabo, on Sunday last week, said he feel so pity for the inability of poor people in his Constituceny to assess health care services.

He said he has commenced discussion with an American Insurance company AIICO on the issue and said an initial one thousand people will be captured when it commences.

Ogbuagu who is the majority leader of the House used the occasion to enumerate some of the developmental projects he has done in Ikeduru which include building of mordern market shades at Nkwu-Imo, Eke Atta, Orie Akabo and other markets in Ikeduru.

He said he also renovated the Onuma bridge linking Okwu Ikeduru and Ahiazu Mbaise which has not been passable since ages.

The Ikeduru lawmaker promised to do more for his people because according to him it is his agreement with God to do what he is doing in his constituency.

In his Speech, Comrade Akaraonye commended Hon Uche Ogbuagu for all his efforts so far in ensuring that his constitents are happy, pointing out that he started very well.

Akaraonye who charged his representative to continue with his good works for his people, however requested him to ensure that every part of Ikeduru state Constituceny benefites from his programme and pray God to grant him more wisdom, strength and courage to achieve all his plans for the people of Ikeduru State Constituceny.
