Online newspaper, INNONEWS has opened talks with BYB, a U.K based online news service. The two online media giants are exploring opportunities aimed at synergizing on information flow, dissemination and sharing.
At a virtual meeting between INNONEWS publisher, Mr. Innocent Onyeukwu, and Grace Bent, Executive Director, BYB, the duo agreed to embark on proactive steps to ensure that INNONEWS, South East Nigeria leading online newspaper, gets wider readership in the U.K particularly among Igbos living in the U.K.
A joint statement by the two online media outfits after the virtual meeting stated “a strategic partnership, between INNONEWS and BYB, is in the offing to ensure that Nigerians resident in the UK, particularly Imolites, do have first hand information, breaking news about political and social events in Imo State, and South East Nigeria”
“BYB, with vast and extensive online reach out in the UK and parts of Europe, found INNONEWS worthy, for its professionalism, and is impressed with the online newspaper’s penetration in the UK online community courtesy of enormous interest showed on it by a vast stream of Nigerians, particularly Igbos resident in the UK
‘INNONEWS, BYB, will engage in exchange programmes, affiliate marketing and explore other channels to boost the partnership.
BYB is an online news service in the UK which has engaged some reputable leading online news services across Africa to “penetrate local content in the U.K and Europe.
