INNONEWS Unveils 2020 Hall Of Champions

Online news service, INNONEWS, is set to unveil winners of it’s Hall Of Champions, an annual showpiece geared towards “profiling the enormous contributions of few Imolites, who excelled in various fields of human endeavour”

The maiden edition was held in 2019.

A statement by the management of the online newspaper, reads:

“INNONEWS HALL OF CHAMPIONS is an annual event, instituted by the management of the online newspaper, to profile men and women, who excelled in various fields of human endeavour within the year.

“It is NOT an award showpiece, but rather a conscious effort and deep intellectual exercise by the editorial board of the online newspaper to recognize those in our view, we consider, made impact in politics, governance, private sector, economy, the legislature, or in one unique area of human endeavour.

“The process of shortlisting recipients was not entirely the sole duty of the editorial board of the newspaper, but was subjected to rigorous screening exercise by an independent evaluation team, made up of seasoned journalists, who were actively involved in the process of selecting and profiling the recipients.

Recall that the maiden edition of the annual showpiece was held in 2019 with five nominees profiled for their success in various fields.

The 2019 recipients include: Chuks Ajaelu (Opening Frontiers, Breaking New Grounds), Protus Nathan Uzoma (An Uncommon Reformer, Fiery Critic), Engr Paul Aballa (A Champion of Rural Development), Franklin Ngoforo (An Ambassador Of Humanity), and Emeka Diwe (Grassroot Mobilizer and Outstanding Promoter Of Igbo Unity)
