A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State and known good governance advocate, Distinguished Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (SamDaddy) will on Sunday receive an Award of Excellence in Human Capital Development and Community Service bestowed on him by Saint Joseph Catholic Chaplaincy, Imo State University, Owerri.
In a letter jointly signed by the Chaplain of the church, Reverend Father Dr. Patrick Mbarah, Chairman, 2020 Harvest Planning Committee, IK Ogbonna and the Secretary, Dr (Mrs) Stella Onyeagbako, the award was in recognition of Senator Anyanwu’s contributions to the church and humanity.
According to them, Senator Anyanwu was selected as an awardee following records of his verifiable services to mankind, adding that his midal touches in the areas of community and human capital development necessitated the honour.
A statement by Ikenna Onuoha, Media Adviser to Senator Anyanwu states that the event will take place on Sunday, 13th, December at the church premises.
