Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Presidential Election Holds Jan 11, 2021 In Owerri

 The presidential election of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo will take place in Owerri, on January 11, 2021.

Imo State is expected to produce the next President of the organization in line with the rotation principle of the organization.

This is as reports emerged that the adopted consensus candidate of the state for the presidency of Ohaneze Ndi Ibo, George Obiozor slumped and collapsed at an emergency Ime Obi meeting of the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo held on Sunday in Enugu.

INNONEWS was informed that the meeting was called off to resolve differences which arose from the 40 man list of electoral committee for the 2021 election of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo submitted to Ime Obi Ohaneze by the President General, Chief Nnia Nwodo, on December 6.

Chief Gary Enwo- Igariwey, a former President General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, from Ebonyi State was endorsed by the Ime Obi as the Chairman of the Electoral Committee for the January 11, 2021 poll

This newspaper gathered that the Ime obi also approved that the election should hold in Owerri, Imo State capital
