As part of the activities to mark their end of the year celebration, National Association of Liberated Tigers (NALT) liberation Chapter on Tuesday visited Red Cross motherless babies home Owerri, where they donated some cash price and other food items to support them in this Yuletide season.

The leader of the group, MP Joseph Ndiukwuegbulam while presenting the gift items, noted that the event is held annually, stressing that it is a period which is set aside for them to celebrate with their families ,friends, and business partners ,and most especially to thank God for keeping them alive throughout the year despite all the challenges.

According to him, “Last year we visited Federal Medical Center, Owerri, where we settled bills for some patients who cannot afford to pay their hospital bills, of which some of them were already discharged but cannot go home due to they owed the hospital”

“However, we continued again this year but we decided to visit orphanage home whereas it is also part of our duty as a social organization to contribute to the society.

“NALT represents peace, social justice development, and progress, our branches are scattered all over the world, we are also poised to synergize with the government of the day to ensure that dividend of democracy get to the masses” he stated.

He further encouraged their members to always maintain peace and decorum in any environment they find themselves, adding that they should be security cautious this festive season and should alert the appropriate authorities whenever they notice strange movement in their neighborhood.

High point of the event include the unveiling of NALT Club social justice billboard located at Aba road.
