Peter Aka, a professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology, faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nigeria of Nsukka, has been appointed Vice Chancellor, Imo State University, Owerri.
He hails from Umuebele, Okporo in Orlu local government area of Imo State.
He takes over from Prof Mrs Adaobi Obasi whose tenure ended on December 30, 2020.
Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma approved Akah’s appointment.
