One Year In Office: Imo Editors Tell Uzodimma What To Do On Roads

Editors of Imo State based newspapers editors, under the aegis of Forum Of Imo Based Newspaper Editors, FINE, have called on Governor Hope Uzodimma, to ensure rapid fixing of roads undergoing construction and rehabilitation in the State, particularly the wide gutters/drainage systems,which if not closed could pose danger to the lives of Imolites.

The editors however commended the Governor for doing well in some areas within the year under review, particularly in curtailing the Covid 19 pandemic

“We appreciate the effort put in this direction as saving life is at the centre of governance” the editors stated in a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Forum, Chinedu Max Egere and Chigozie Uzosike.

The Forum urged the Governor to embrace good governance which is the core essence of leadership, calling on the state government to ensure that workers and pensioners are paid as at when due.
