Okigwe Senate Seat: Court Stops Araraume’s Fresh Bid

Senator Ifeanyi Araraume latest attempt to go to the Senate to represent Imo North senatorial district has hit a brickwall temporarily.

A  Federal High Court, sitting in Owerri, struck out a suit Araraume instituted seeking to be declared authentic candidate of the APC Senatorial primary.

INNONEWS gathered that the Senator had withdrawn the matter but made another attempt to re enlist the case recently, which was stuck out by the Presiding judge, Justice Ringim.

Justice Taiwo Taiwo of Federal High Court, Abuja had also recently struck out a suit filed by the senator seeking to be declared winner of Imo North Senatorial election.

Araraume and Frank Ibezim are claiming ti candidate of the APC for Imo North Senatorial election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had declared the APC winner of the Imo North Senatorial election. The Commission did not announce any candidate as winner
