The people of Amaohuru Autonomous Community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State have been urged to give their support to the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.
The President-General of the community, Hon. Ozichukwu Chukwu, gave the advice at a colourful reception held in his honour by the community members, following his swearing-in, recently, at Aboh, headquarters of the LGA.
He said that the entire people of the state stand to benefit from the well-intentioned administration of Gov. Uzodimma which has just completed its first year in office.
Chukwu assured the people of a peaceful resolution of the ezeship tussle which had engulfed the community since its creation.He thanked God that the problem had not escalated to the point of lives being lost, saying that it would be settled amicably.
Ozichukwu advised the community members to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party and its members mean well for the people of Imo.At the reception were dignitaries in the community, including Prof. Mark Odu acclaimed to have won an ezeship election duly conducted in the community and had since been presented to government, Dr. Evans Osagimo, Duru Azu, Nze Nicholas Onyekwere, Ezinna Joe Odu, Hon. Bernard Anyanwu, Nze Richard Nnanna Odoemene, Hon. Jude Onyeoziri, Dr. Richard Odu, among others.
