Last Wednesday was like a political carnival cum rally at Umuosike Ogbor Uvuru Ward 2 in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State as Barr. Success Obioma Akagburuonye stormed Polling Booth 007 at Town School with his political supporters, friends and loyalists where he revalidated his membership of All Progressives Congress, APC.
Akagburuonye who flew in from Abuja for the national political exercise was shocked seeing his key political associates from the 27 council areas of the State laid siege at his muliti million Naira state of the art Secretariat of Hope Rising for Imolites at Ogbor Uvuru in Aboh Mbaise council area.
He arrived the venue by 12.35 pm as his convoy was a cynosure of all eyes along the roads and at the market square as the people were equally hailing one of their own while the vociferous supporters were reeling out political songs in honour of the philanthropist turned political Iroko.
The re validation documentation processes took about 10 minutes and he was offered a temporarily membership identity card with registration number IM/ABB/ 01/130001.
Akagburuonye who is the founder and financier of Hope Rising for Imolites, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise, addressed the mammoth crowd on the need to identify with the APC ,noting that it as a political party that enhances the welfare of the masses.
He reiterated the need for APC members to revalidate their membership while appealing to other members of the society on the need for them to join APC in their mission of rebuilding the state and the nation at large.
The legal luminary also described the people’s excitement as an acceptability for great expectations
On the administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State and under APC political platform, he said ” Senator Uzodimma is a man God Himself has chosen for a purpose at this point in time. Since his emergence has divine endorsement, we must allow him to govern, encourage and support his mission and vision of transforming the state.Nothing good thrives in crises.
“People must allow him to be focused and render good governance because God will surely hold him accountable. If he eventually failed Imo people, it’s between him and his God. People must jettisoned unnecessary distractions so as to enable him remain focused and purposeful in his Shared Prosperity and 3 R mantra administration. Personally, I believe that he is God sent, so let us wait and see why God sent him” he said
Among the entourage are chieftains of Hope Rising for Imolites led by Dr.Mrs Ngozi Aririguzo and Buhari Youths Organization, anchored by Hon. Chuks Okwaraejiaku.
