Frontline politician in Imo State and Abuja based contractor, Chief Mike Nwachukwu, has encouraged the people in Imo State to join the All Progressive Congress, APC.
He also expressed his resolve and commitment to deepening democracy in the State for the benefit of the people.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to the Press on Tuesday on return to his base, the 2019 APGA Senatorial Candidate for Imo East (Owerri), encouraged the people to commit to the task of building a better, United and democratic society consolidated by progress which APC represent.
“This is an exercise that is timely and i am calling on all progressive-minded citizens to take advantage of this rare opportunity to join the winning party as 2023 will bring more dividends of democracy.
“This is time for Ndigbo to align with the center as we cannot continue to be in the opposition while at the same time complaining. This is a trend we must do away with. We must be proactive to get desired results from the Nigeria project.
“Nigeria is our collective project, we must be part of moving her forward by contributing our quota and we need a platform to do this, APC has offered it on a platter of gold, we must grab it” he advised.
Chief Nwachukwu praised Governor Hope Uzodinma for measures he has so far adopted in bringing all-around development, peace and stability in the state and enjoined the citizens to give him all the support he needs to continue to bring development to the state.
“We can see the ongoing positive changes around us, we are certain of better days ahead and we need to give Gov. Hope Uzodinma all the support he needs because APC has come to stay” the statement further admonished.
