Uzodimma Meets Buhari After Fracas With Okorocha

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, was at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Tuesday where he met President Muhammadu Buhari.

Details of the meeting were unknown as at press time.

But the visit came barely 48 hours, a former Governor of the State and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District at the Senate, Senator Rochas Okorocha was quizzed by the Police for unsealing Royal Palm Estate, Owerri.

The property was sealed by officials of the Imo State government.

Okorocha said he was attacked by thugs said to be led by one of the aides of Governor Uzodimma, Mr. Chinasa Nwaneri.

Vehicles belonging to the former Governor were destroyed and one of his aides attacked.

Okorocha claimed that while in police custody, the Presidency intervened in his matter.

“I want to thank the presidency for intervening in the matter. Governor Hope Uzodinma shouldn’t take my peaceful disposition for granted” he said after his release
