Promoters of mega party otherwise known as National Consultative Front, NCF, have listed former Governor of Imo State and Senator representing Orlu zone in the senate, Senator Rochas Okorocha, as one of those it will engage to join the planned mega party.
The NCF has set up a four member Committee to engage other prominent Nigerians on joining the party.
The promoters of the mega party include former Speaker, House of Representatives, Umar Ghali Na’Abba, former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Kingsley Moghalu, an economist, Prof Pat Utomi and others.
Okorocha had last month in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, spoke on the prospect of a new political force springing up ahead of the general elections in 2023.
He called for an alliance of like minds in the APC and the PDP.
“There are very bad people in APC and there are very bad people in PDP. So, I think the good people in APC and the good people in PDP must come together for the purpose of making Nigeria great” he said in Port Harcourt when he was invited by Governor Nyesom Wike to commission a road project.
Okorocha is losing hold of the APC in Imo State since Governor Hope Uzodimma emerged Governor of Imo State.
