Senator Samuel Anyanwu says the rift between him and former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has been resolved by leaders of the PDP.

“Today no one should see each other as enemy, just like I will not see my brother, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha as enemy or a stranger, because, our leaders made it possible for all of us to unite again for a common goal” Anyanwu was quoted to have told members of national reconciliatory Commitee of the PDP led by former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Hon.Austin Opara.

Anyanwu who represented Owerri zone at the senate urged aggrieved members of the PDP to forgive and forget those who wronged them, adding that what remains paramount for any good party man was the success of his party rather than an unstoppable war.

He said ” Every good party man should know when it is time to ceasefire and embrace peace…

Anyanwu and Ihedioha fell apart after a controversial PDP governorship primary which the latter won.

The Supreme Court eventually upheld the outcome of the primary election, declaring Ihedioha the authentic winner of the Primary.
