The General Manager of Heartland FC Owerri,  Chief Chukwudi Ifeanyi says the team would continue to build on its impressive run so far in the ongoing NPFL 2020/21 season.

He started this when reacting to the team’s 1-1 draw played in its matchday 11 clash against Sunshine Stars at the Akure Township Stadium on Sunday.

Chief Ifeanyi said the team is gradually consolidating on its performance and impressive outing with each game, adding that with such,going forward, it would meet the anticipated target before the end of the season.

Chief Ifeanyi extolled the team’s technical crew led by Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, for their resilience which he said, has transformed challenges to fruitful results and advised them to keep it up.

He used the forum to commend all the club’s supporters for their commitment and confidence reposed in the team despite initial challenges and urged them to sustain it.

Heartland had remained unbeaten in their last four games securing one away win and an away draw to take their total earnings to 14 points and occupies 11th position on the log.

The Naze Millionaires next game will be at home against Dakada FC of Uyo in their matchday 12 clash at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri on Wednesday.
