Ihedioha, Senator Anyanwu Make First Public Appearance After Reconciliation (PHOTO)

For the first time after their trumpeted reconciliation, two erstwhile political foes of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State, former Governor Emeka Ihedioha and Senator Samuel Anyanwu, made their first public appearance together at the South East Zonal Congress of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP held in Enugu at the weekend.

Anyanwu and Ihedioha became political foes after the 2019 Imo PDP governorship Primary, which the latter won.

Anyanwu had last month announced that he has reconciled with the former Governor ending two years of a bitter feud which almost polarised the PDP in Imo State.

“Today no one should see each other as enemy, just like I will not see my brother, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha as enemy or a stranger, because, our leaders made it possible for all of us to unite again for a common goal” Anyanwu  had told members of national re conciliatory Committee of the PDP led by former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Hon.Austin Opara.
