The Director General, Media Centre of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Imo State, Mr. Cajethan Duke,has lost his mother, Mrs Angela Osumaraego Akuta (nee Eke)
A statement titled “My Mother is No More” signed by Mr. Duke reads:
“It is with deep sense of loss and great regret but total submission to the will of God Almighty that I on behalf of my family respectfully wish to inform you of the death of our dearly beloved mother and mother-in-law MRS ANGELA OSUMARAEGO AKUTA (Nee Eke) aged 63.
“Our mother until her last breath on the early hours of Thursday 18th March, 2021, was a dedicated Christian woman of the Catholic faith and a community leader, whose life was an embodiment of humility.
“Since the death of our father, almost a decade ago, Mother has remained strongly our dependable confidant, our only source of strength, support and encouragement. Her death no doubt has dealt a devasting blow to our lives.
“The burial arrangements by the family would be communicated in due course.
