ASETU Leader, Diwe Buries Mother April 22

National President, Association of South East Town Unions, ASETU, Chief Emeka Diwe, will bury his late mother on April 22, 2021.

A statement signed by Diwe reads:

With gratitude to God for a glorious life well spent, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nneoma Georgeana Ewuzaku Diwe, who left this world at the age of ninety-two.

Our late mother was known for her refined values. She was a woman who worked hard and traded in a lot of things to provide for us. She was a devout Christian, a leader of people, a motivator and a mentor to far too many. Even in her sick bed, people were still besieging her for advice on issues of leadership and human organization. And she still counseled them.

The burial arrangement is as follows: Thursday, April 22, 2021 – a Requiem High Mass at St. James Catholic Parish, Akpulu, Ideato North LGA, Imo State to be celebrated by the Catholic Bishop of Orlu Diocese, Most Rev. Augustine Ukwuoma. Interment follows immediately at my residence in Akpulu. Condolences continue till Saturday, April 24, and the Outing Church Service will hold on Sunday, April 25 at St. James Catholic Parish, Akpulu.

We immensely appreciate the outpouring of condolences which we have received from all walks of life, and pray God to reward all those who have stood by us at this moment. May the soul of Mama rest in peace. Amen.
