Nnamdi Kanu:Uzodimma Must Leave As Imo Governor

Leader of the Indigeneous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has said Governor Hope Uzodimma, must leave office via fresh election, as a basis for the Anambra state governorship election to take place.

“If they want election in Anambra State they must remove Senator Hope Uzodimma as Imo State governor and call for fresh election. If we catch anybody wooing people to come out and vote, that person will see hell”Kanu said in an emergency broadcast.

Governor Uzodimma had accused Kanu’s IPOB for masterminding the attacks on Imo Police Headquarters and Correctional Centre in Owerri on Easter Monday.

Few days after, Uzodimma recanted and blamed aggrieved politicians in the State for the attacks.

Imo State Commissioner for Information, Declan Emelumba, later on accused former Governor and Senator representing Orlu zone in the Senate, Senator Rochas Okorocha, for master minding the attacks.

Kanu in the broadcast, declared that the Anambra State governorship election scheduled to hold in November will not take place.

“Every edifice for election in Anambra will be brought down. There will be no election in Anambra State. Come out and campaign and meet your doom. There will be no campaign in Anambra. Why must we keep electing people who are fighting against their own people? If we vote in Anambra, what happened in Imo State will repeat he fired.
