Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Imo State chapter, Chief Chris Akaraonye, has felicitated with journalists on Eastyer, describing the period as “an opportunity to offer prayers of unity especially in our Union the NUJ, mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance among us”
The Message Reads:
On behalf of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Imo state Council, I felicitate with Imo journalists and the good people of Imo State as we celebrate yet another Easter, signifying Christ resurrection from dead.
I also felicitate with the State Government under the able leadership of His Excellency Sen. Hope Uzodimma on this very important season.
This period offers us the opportunity to reflect on our relationship with God and that of our brothers and sisters. It is also an opportunity to offer prayers of unity especially in our Union the NUJ, mutual understanding, peaçeful coexistence and religious tolerance among us.
I pray that God in his infinite mercies will give us the grace to forgive one another and continue to live as one and work for the progress of the Union and the State to the glory of God.
I therefore appeal to all to see the resurrection of Jesus Christ as an invitation to forgive one another and join hands together to build a peaceful and develop society to the glory of God.
