Calm In Imo, Uzodimma Returns To Abuja

There is calm in Imo State, a week after series of attacks in the state.

The last two weeks was chaotic, as unknown gunmen unleashed terror in the state, razing some police formations, including the State Police headquarters, the State Correctional Centre, in Owerri and the home of Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma at his village in Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area.

The Governor had returned to Abuja after spending just three days in the State capital, Owerri where he addressed workers on workers Day. His return to the nation’s capital could be in line with his plans to continue to ensure peace in the state.
