Ezeani: Why I Have Uncommon Passion For The Youths.
Former federal lawmaker, Hon.ThankGod Ezeani, on Tuesday, gave an insight why he has uncommon passion for the youths.
Speaking when receiving an award of honour “Excellence For Community Development Strides” by a media group based in Imo State in Owerri, Ezeani, a leading industrialist, stated that his love for the youths motivated him to set up the ThankGod Ezeani Center For Leadership and Entrepreneurship.
He expressed optimism that the Center would metamorphose into a great outlet, which will empower the youths and contribute significantly to produce great leaders in the future.
He noted that he is posed to develop the centre by deploying more time, energy and resources for it to continue to achieve it’s core objectives.
In his remarks, the Director General of ThankGod Ezeani Organization, Dr. Ken Anaeme, a former Commissioner in the State, and a reputed political scientist, in expressed gratitude to the media men for the meritorious award.
He said “Dr. Ezeani is pace setter, worthy of every accolade for his immense contributions to nation building.
“He is among the richest men in Orlu zone and he has the good heart and capacity to do greater things.
He stated that a man such as Ezeani deserves to hold key positions to keep effecting the needed changes in the political system for the benefit of the society.
Presenting the award to Hon.Ezeani, Secretary of the Forum, Mr. Ifeanyi Onyekachi,said the award was conferred on Hon.Ezeani for his outstanding and mangificient works which attracted the attention of the group, particularly in community development, youth empowerment and job creation.
He recalled Dr. Ezeani’s passion for the media, particularly for establishing one of the most of the widely read newspaper in Imo State, Announcer Express.
He also recounted his numeours achievements such as granting scholarship schemes and empowerment for Imo youths, provision of pipe borne water, massive job creation in Ideato Nation, building an Oil and Gas factory, among others.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the award by the leadership of the group to Hon.Ezeani.
