Hon. Nze Ray Emeana, the quintessential Imo PDP Scribe, is a man of several definitions to several people. A leader is one whose personality is so influential that it connects even with the people he never met.
A leader becomes light that beams hope to the aspirations of the common people, and impacts on their dreams interestingly that his personality begins to serve as pathway to achieving unthinkable goals by anyone directly or remotely connected to his leadership ideology and practice.
The published playwright and former Chairman of Imo State Housing Corporation, Hon. Ray Emeana, is made of sterner stuff, being such a man that nothing deters from embarking or standing firm in any just cause. This unique leader has a style that enable any of his followers to personalize ownership of him.
The numerous award winning Personality, Ray Emeana is highly gifted and has been very magnanimous in blessing this generation. As a movie Actor and producer, his movies have hugely effected great lessons didactically, and addressed certain societal ills satirically, thereby shaping the moral standards of this era.
The former Legislator is a published Playwright and an accomplished writer with many intriguing books to his credit; books that that take their pride of place as best read.
As an intellectual giant, he possesses many degrees from notable institutions within and outside the country and has utilized his academic acquisitions for our country’s betterment. Before his voyage into active politics, he was an Adjunct Senior Lecturer, Madonna University Okija, Part-time lecturer, Claretian Institute of Philosophy, Nekede, and Pioneer Head of Department (HOD) of Theatre Arts, Imo State University, Owerri.
As a remarkable politician, he has successfully steered many positions ranging from a member of the Imo State House of Assembly representing Owerri North between 2007 to 2011, a former Chairman of Imo State Housing Cooperation and many others.
He is a good community man and a true son of Owerri zone, a traditional Nze Title Holder whose staunch believe in the ties of brotherhood is unquantifiable.
He is a leader, a friend, a political associate, a father and a mentor. He believes in win-win and never engages in do-or-die politics.
He never leads from behind; he is often in the front line when a goal is to be achieved. He is the motivation his team needed to achieve uncommon successes. He is a team player!
For the last couple of years, Emeana has dedicated his life to the tenets and ethos of progressive politics with unwavering commitment, focus and dedication.
As the State Secretary of our great party, he has influenced implementation of policies and programmes that have not only endured till date, but being copied and replicated in many other states across the nation.
Fundamentally, he did not only lay the foundation for the transformation of our great party, but also put in place an enduring blueprint for the progressive development of the party. Under his Secretarial guardianship of our party, the party has attained recognition and greatness even as an opposition party.
