Owerri, the Imo State capital, came alive Tuesday, as normal activities resumed after Monday’s Sit At Home, which was highly successful.

Shops, offices were closed for business on Monday in compliance to the directive, while workers who had stayed away from work returned to their duty posts on Tuesday morning. Major roads, streets witnessed surge in traffic, in contrast to few cars which had plied the roads on Monday.

Despite the suspension of the Monday Sit At Home announced by the Indigenous People Of  Biafra, IPOB,  the order is still complied with in the state as residents in the State comply with the order.

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, had claimed after visiting President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, last week, that the sit at home order is not obeyed or complied with in the State.

Uzodimma’s claims held no water, as the Sit Home was adjudged successful.
