Dr. ThankGod Ezeani, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Orlu zone, has congratulated Youths of Orlu zone, as the world celebrates 2021 International Youth Day.
His message read: “I wish to felicitate with the Youth across the globe on the occasion of the International Youth Day celebration.
“I salute Youths of Orlu zone in particular for their commitment and perseverance towards the attainment of a greater Orlu zone.
“Indeed, the survival of humanity rests largely on the shoulders of the youths, as vigour is required for us to restore the glory of Orlu zone.
“The vigour and spirit you embody as youth will play a crucial role in the socio-economic survival of the zone, and it’s rejuvenation.
“As leaders of today, and tomorrow, I enjoin you all to preach and practice peace, demonstrate patriotism at all levels; rid yourselves of nepotism and promote competence above all forms of sentiments.
“Only then can we truly have the Orlu zone of our dream.
“I shall stay the course and continue to offer my shoulders for you all to climb because as youths, you are Leaders of Today”.
“I also urge the government at all levels to renew it’s commitment to support our young people in all aspects of their development. As a zone, let us use the opportunity to resolve to increasing investments in our youths even as we encourage our young people to devote their energies and creative ideas into shaping a better future for themselves and our zone.
