Former governorship candidate in Imo State and neuroscientist, Prof Alphonsus Ekwerike, has been appointed the dean, School of Health Sciences, Claretian University of Nigeria, (CUN) Nekede.
Speaking to newsmen on what he intends to achieve with his appointment, Prof Ekwerike said he would model the American and Scandinavian educational systems in Nigeria, which he described, are the top learning models in the world, which would be ran through SUPREP (Syndicated Universities Preparatory Research Educational Programme)
He stated that the Model Academic Credit Earning Exchange Program would also hasten the eradication of graduates unemployment and brains drains in Nigeria and also accelerate economic growth and national development.
He further stated that the Claretian University, which is accredited by the Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC), is also set to train professionals, who would be among the world’s workforce from Nigeria, who will become the next world class award winning inventors and researchers.

Prof. Alphonsus Ekwerike is a renowned Neuroscientist ( Neuroendocrinologist ) & Space Technostronomist who discovered the two asteroids (2010 TL 78 & CHF1472) as indexed by NASA-IASC at the NASA international space expedition & asteroid research competition in 2010, representing the USA.
He is also the inventor of Suprep ( Syndicated Universities Preparatory Research educational program) Model educational learning, & the new neuroscience based courses / professions of Cognitive Neurosquatemetry (aka:STEM-Invention Technology Program) & Science Medicine Clinical / health research.
He is also a Harvard Medical School, Boston MA, USA trained Clinical Researcher, Harvard University trained higher education teacher & Georgia Inst of Technology trained STEM-Robotic System Engineering classroom & online curricula teacher.
Prof. Alphonsus Ekwerike was a former Imo State ANRP Governorship candidate in the 2019 election and currently would also serve as the Research Director of College of Science Medicine Claretian University,Owerri, Imo State .
