President Muhammadu Buhari, is expected in Imo State on September 9, 2021, “on official duty”
Governor Hope Uzodimma made the disclosure on arrival at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri, Saturday.
He said while in Abuja, he secured the approval for President Buhari to come to Imo State to commission some significant projects put together by the Shared Prosperity Administration.
“The good news is that Imo has been able to attract additional support from Mr.President on management of ecological problems in the State” he said.
Uzodimma who has been in Abuja for some time, said he used his stay in Abuja “to address some political matters”.
He also said he embarked on the working visit to Abuja “to resolve some critical issues that were supposed to be handled in Abuja”, which include but not limited to the World Bank Programmes on rural roads, the NEW MAP projects and other erosion issues.
