PRESS STATEMENT
The Chairman and Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Imo State Council onbehalf of the executives, members and all journalists in Imo State, felicitate with Mr Declan Anaele, Publisher of Lead Express Newspaper, on his emergence as the new Chairman of Imo State Newspaper Publishers Association (INPA).
We also wish to congratulate your executive members that emerged successfully with you and the entire newspaper publishers in Imo State for the maturity with which the whole process was handled.
It is heart-warming that INPA with your emergence, has repositioned itself for higher visions.
We urge the new leadership of INPA to help sanitize the media space in Imo against quacks and fake journalists.
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Imo State Council, as the umbrella body of qualified journalists, will always offer hands of fellowship to work with INPA.
May God guide and direct your vision towards a better INPA and for the good of the Imo society.
