Academician (Prof.) Prince Dr Philip C. Njemanze M.D. was born in 1962 at Owerri, Imo State.

He completed his medical education in Rostov State Medical Institute Rostov on Don USSR, postgraduate training at Klinikum Grosshadern Munich, Fellowship at GUY’s Hospital London and Bowman Gray School of Medicine, North Carolina, USA.

He became a leading researcher in Neurocardiology at the Souer’s Stroke Institute, St Louis University Medical Center, St Louis MO. USA, in 1992. In 1995 was selected as a Principal Investigator of the National Aeronautic and Space Administration, (NASA) by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the study of the ‘Brain in Space’.

He is an Academician of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), which is the UNESCO highest body for Space Research. Author, Scientist and Chairman of the Global Prolife Alliance (GPA), former chairman of the Association of Nigerian Private Medical Practitioner. Prof. Dr Njemanze is the medical director of Chidicon Medical Center, Owerri.
