Industrialist and top notch of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State, Hon.ThankGod Ezeani, has congratulated Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Sam Daddy) on his adoption as consensus candidate for the South East for the position of National Secretary of the PDP.
Ezeani, a former member of the House of Representatives, described the endorsement as deserved and a show of trust and confidence reposed on the Ikeduru born political icon.
Ezeani, popularly called Ogbaturuenyi, in a statement released by Ezeani Media Centre, described the choice made by leaders of the PDP in the South East zone as timely and undisputable judging from Senator Anyanwu’s antecedents.
His words “‘Senator Samuel Anyanwu is patriotic, result oriented and a viable leader who has shown unalloyed commitment to the party and has gone ahead to make visible contributions to the progress and sustainance of the party’s mandate.
“This is another opportunity to tap from his wealth of experience and professionalism”
“On behalf of the wonderful people of Orlu zone, I congratulate Senator Samuel Anyanwu over the trust and confidence reposed on him by our great party.
“It is indeed a show of complete faith and credence in his leadership, approach and most importantly, his political skills to help the party deepen the practice of internal democracy and development of our democratic institutions.
“His boundless dedication has continued to open many doors for him.
“This appointment has further demonstrated that there is always a reward for hard work and loyalty” the statement stated.
He congratulated Senator Anyanwu for being considered worthy of such great responsibility and further stated that it is an honor well deserved and also a recognition of Senator Anyanwu as an astute party man, administrator and bridge builder.
He also prayed that his new appointment will be a source of his endless success, adding that the Lord will continue to guide and uplift him beyond expectations.
Ogbaturuenyi also applauded the South East leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the boldness and unity displayed by arriving at a consensus in nominating and subsequently appointing a great illustrious son of the zone, Senator Anyanwu as the zone’s candidate for the position of National Secretary of the party.
According to the ex Parliamentarian and founder, Dr ThankGod Ezeani Center for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, this act exhibited by the Southeast PDP leaders has demonstrated the party’s readiness to possess their rightful possessions and reclaim all its stolen mandates in the zone.
He stated that the efforts of the South East PDP leaders is highly appreciated, knowing the challenges the party is facing from detractors and other elements.
