Gunmen Kidnap Two Traditional Rulers In Okigwe

Gunmen in the early of hours of Sunday, December 12, 2021,  wrecked havoc in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, kidnapping two traditional rulers.

The gumen reportedly set ablaze the palaces of the monarchs and vehicles, also kidnapped a community leader and  the youth leader of Umulolo Okigwe.

One of the kidnapped traditional rulers is said to be the owner of a popular hotel in Okigwe.

The attack came barely three days after the traditional ruler of  Atta ancient kingdom in Njaba LGA, Edwin Azike was kidnapped and killed by another yet to be identified gunmen
