Uche Nwosu’s Arrest, Act Of Victimization, Says Imo APGA Chairman, Iwuala

The Chairman, All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in Imo State, Hon John Iwuala, has condemned the gestapo style of arrest of former governorship candidate, Uche Nwosu.

Nwosu was arrested by uniformed men during an outing church service held in honour of her late mother, Late Jemimah Nwosu, at Eziama Obiare in Nkwerre LGA of Imo State.

The Imo State Police Command, Owerri, later claimed to have arrested the former Chief of Staff, Government House, Owerri.

Speaking to INNONEWS in Owerri, Iwuala said Nwosu’s arrest is an act of political victimization.

He said Nwosu became a target of the state government because he had directed his political followers and foot-soldiers, to join the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA.

“This is a case of political victimization. Prior to the burial of Nwosu’s mother, the Late Jemimah, he had directed that all his political footsoldiers to come to APGA. And because he said so, he has been marked for victimization” Iwuala said.
