The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Imo State Chapter has congratulated the Imo State First Family for the awards of honour given bestowed on them at the just concluded two days All Progressives Congress APC National Women Conference .
Imo NAWOJ In a press release signed by the State Chairman, Dorothy Okafor-Nnaji Ph.D, stressed that the Association rejoice with Her Excellency, Barr Chioma Uzodimma for joining other First Ladies and Progressive Women from the 36 States of the Federation to officially unveil the “Progressive Women Trust Fund”, which will address issues surrounding gender imbalance and promoting the participation of Nigerian women in politics, which NAWOJ believes in.
The Statement read , “The Imo Women in the Pen Profession hold this recognition of you and your husband by the APC National Women Conference in high regards. Imo NAWOJ equally express our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of the event who have taken cognizance of your numerous activities and contributions in uplifting womanhood within and outside the state.”
