There is peace of the graveyard in the All Progressives Congress, after the Supreme Court slated May 27 for verdict on the leadership crisis rocking the governing party in Imo State.
Since the Supreme court set the date for judgment, party members in the State have been in a state of frenzy and panic, two factions existing in the party continue to remain hopeful of a favourable judgement.
The APC, as it is presently constituted in Imo State, is in firm grip of Senator Hope Uzodimma, who is behind the party leadership led by Mac Donald Ebere.
A faction led by Dan Nwafor is loyal to former Governor of the State, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The judgment of the Supreme Court is expected to put an end the political cold war all centered around the soul of the party in the State between Governor Hope Uzodimma and Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The judgement, analysts contend is expected to determine the fate of the party in the State, as Primaries draws close.
Some aspirants are said to have slowed down the intensity of their aspiration, as they await where the pendulum of justice will swing in the coming days.
