The Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, has alerted the general public on the activities of scammers, warning the general public not to fall prey to them.
FMC ,in a statement in Owerri, said there is no staff recruitment currently going on, and advised that it’s Medical Director, Dr.Kingsley Chigbu, does not operate any Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account.
The statement read:
“Beware of scammers as the Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre Owerri, Dr Kingsley Achigbu does not have or operate any Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account. And there is no Staff recruitment currently going on in FMC Owerri.
“Note; employment is always advertised in national dailies and published on public platforms.
“Please be guided and don’t fail to report any such case to the nearest Law Enforcement Agency or call on the office of the Public Relations Officer of the Hospital for clarification of any doubt for prompt action, please” the statement concluded
