Immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Obiano, is said to be on the Commission’s watchlist.
Reports say he was arrested at about 8.30pm, Thursday night, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
He was reported to be on his way to Houston, Texas in the United States.
Obiano had earlier in the day, handed over the reins of governance of Anambra State to Charles Soludo, after completing two terms of eight years in office.
